Troops of the Nigerian Army have gunned down an unknown ballot thief in Ogege road, Odaba polling unit in Dekina ward, in Kogi state.
Thugs in their large number had earlier stormed the area, destroying voting materials and forcing voters to flee,The Punch reports.
The thugs who appeared with machetes and guns snatched ballot boxes, broke chairs and dispersed voters.
As of the time of filing this report, voters and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission have dispersed.
