A House of Representatives member, Yuguda Hassan Kila, is dead.
Kila, 65, died at the National Hospital, Abuja on Thursday.
He was representing Gwaram federal constituency in Jigawa state.
Special assistant to the Jigawa state governor on media, Auwalu Danladi Sankara, announced the death.
He said Governor Abubakar Badaru has condoled the family of the deceased and the people of his constituency.
The deceased hails from Kila in Gwaram local government, and was elected to the House of Representatives in 2015 and in 2019 on the
platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
