The Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Dare Kadiri, has been impeached for alleged gross misconduct.
Also impeached is the Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly Uche Ogbuagwu. All were impeached today during the plenary.
Kadiri who represents Ijebu North State Constituency 2 was impeached when last week 22 of his colleagues signed a petition for his removal.
Ogbuagu who represents Ikeduru state constituency was impeached by a majority vote.
He had defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
