A second chance at life was offered to the Nigerian artist, who has openly credited his wife Yetunde.
Eedris Abdulkareem, a seasoned performer, has posted a touching article honoring his wife as they approach their 18th wedding anniversary.
The rapper says he would be eternally grateful to his wife for giving him the chance to live a normal life after receiving a kidney from her.
“Yetunde Sekinat Abdulkareem, there are no words to convey my appreciation when my life is saved because of your priceless gift,” he said. Please know that I will always appreciate the present and be thankful. I can never express all the love I have for you, but I want you to know how appreciative I am for the opportunity you have given me to carry on leading a normal, fulfilling life. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to you. I now recognize the value of life and do not take it for granted.
As he and his wife have gone through triumphs, setbacks, joy, and pain together over the past 18 years, Abdulkareem continues by saying that God has been the cornerstone of their marriage.
For protecting us for the past 18 years that he and his wife have been married, he says, “Lord, we thank your holy name.” “During that period, we have laughed, cried, and celebrated one other’s victories, losses, and tragedies.
We will never forget how your unending love has served as the foundation of our marriage and how your grace has guided us through every hardship that life has thrown at us. We anticipate many more years of love and joy in the future. We ask for blessings so that even future generations can attest to the fact that you have actually blessed our union. Amen! Happy anniversary to you and I, my love.”
The singer and artist conclude his lengthy letter by writing: “Ya Allah, you have preserved our union for all these years. Our relationship has always been characterized by your unending grace, goodness, mercy, and protection.
We ask that your strength and grace uphold our marriage and direct us in the way you would have us go. We ask that you always look favorably upon our union and our children and that all good things come to us during the course of our life. We will always be grateful for the gift of life. I’m Amin Yarabi!
