Seven people have been killed during separate bandits attacks on Sunday in Igabi and Kajuru local government areas of Kaduna state.
The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan who confirmed the incidents said two people, Ibrahim Rabi’u and Abdulrahman Mohammad were killed, while one person, Kamal Murtala, sustained gunshot injury in Kajinjiri village, Igabi local government area.
He said the injured victim has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Aruwan said the gunmen also killed two people, identified Ibrahim Iro and Muhammadu Rabiu, in Rago village, Igabi local government area.
“The attackers also attacked Kutura Motor Park in Kajuru local government area and killed three people,” Aruwan said.
He identified the victims as, Michael Shadari, Clement Aura Bili and Danlami Shaban.
