A Kaduna-based man Idris Adamu on Thursday sued his neighbour, Abdullahi Bagobiri, in a Sharia Court sitting at Rigasa, Kaduna for building a pit latrine close to his well.
Adamu accused the defendant of building his fence close to his house, thereby preventing the flow of waste water.
“I reported the matter to our community health workers and he was asked to fill the latrine pit.
”He agreed, but later changed his mind.
”I want this honourable court to compel him to refill the space and move his fence away from mine,” he said.
Bagobiri denied the allegations.
The judge, Malam Abubakar Salisu Tureta, asked the complainant to produce witnesses, adding that the court would visit the premises.
He adjourned the case to December 28.
