The debate between Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara and a coalition of Kano clerics would now hold on March 7, 2021, the state government announced.
The state commissioner for information Muhammad Garba disclosed this to BBC Hausa on Sunday.
The state government had earlier barred the Qadiriyya brotherhood sheikh from public preaching, before agreeing to organize a debate between him and a coalition of Tojjaniya and Salafi scholars in the state.
