Some people are busy celebrating that oil has been found in the North but this celebration promises to be short-lived. According to social media wags, a new association has just been flouted in Nigeria. Its office is situated within the premises of the Kolmani oil well, with one wing in Bauchi State and another office wing in Gombe State.
The association is called Indigenous People of Bauchi and Gombe States, IPOBAG for short.
It has already anointed a leader, one bearded man like that. His name will soon be disclosed, Al-Baghdadi style, at a grand reception to be held soon.
We understand that the aims and objectives of the association are being drafted with the help of IPOB consultants sent by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
It is speculated to include resource control and possibly, secession from Nigeria.
