The 27 students and 12 staff and their families abducted from Government Science College, Kagara in Niger State, have been released.
Security sources said the abducted students were released by their abductors Saturday morning.
It is, however, not clear how much ransom was paid by the state government to secure students released from their abductors.
21st Century Chronicle gathered that the freed students are on their way to the state capital and they would be received by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.

Governor Bello earlier expressed his frustrations over the lack of support from the federal government on the release of the students.
