Shoretire at age 17 became United’s youngest player ever in Europe as United drew 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad in Europa League round of 32 second leg.
Shoretire became United’s seventh-youngest player ever when he stepped on for Rashford in the final couple of minutes in United’s 3-1 defeat of Newcastle on Sunday.
“Shola has got some skills, he’s going to make a very good player here,” Man U legend, Norwegian told Skysports.
“Maybe he would have enjoyed it more with fans because they give you so much energy. But I’m sure all the fans will see him soon.”
Man U coach Solskjaer also suggested the United squad is perfectly-equipped to integrate such youngsters.
The United’s 4-0 first-leg win over Real Sociedad gave Man U boss Solskjaer the chance to select youngsters ahead of the second leg to enable him rest players ahead of his premier league clash against Chelsea.
