Nigeria on Thursday recorded 634 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the total infections in the country to 154,476.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on its official website on Thursday that six people have died from the disease in the last 24 hours.
Nigeria’s fatality toll is now 1,891 in total.
The NCDC said 634 new cases were reported from 22 states, with Lagos recording the highest figure of 259 new cases.
The health agency said a total of 131,699 patients have recovered across the country, while nearly 21,000 patients are still receiving treatments in isolation centres across the country.
