A seventeen year old boy has drowned at Titin Jajira in Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, the State Fire Service has said.
Its spokesman, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, revealed that the service’s rescue team brought the boy out of a pond, but was later confirmed dead by a doctor.
“The corpse was handed over to the police at Bachirawa Police Divisional headquarter,’’ he stated.
The fire service would continue to investigate the incident, Abdullahi added.
