When I first learned that a man in Kaduna State was interested in becoming governor, I took a moment to consider whether this was just another instance of a visionless desire for an unprepared personality to assume control of the mantle of leadership in our beloved state, or a rare case of a personality with a vision and passion for saving the state’s long-forgotten masses. I firmly feel that Kaduna State’s residents should place a high value on the answer to this question since, in most cases, it should serve as the foundation upon which they should base their elective decisions. To that end, I tried to see if I could respond to the question.
I had to ask questions like, “Who is he?” because I wanted to know the answer. Who are his forebears? What has he so far accomplished? How tall is he intellectually speaking? How much does he really understand about the needs of his people? What workable plan does he have to change their circumstances in terms of politics, economics, social issues, and more?
The answer to Kaduna is Senator Uba Sani, who is currently the senatorial zone representative for Kaduna Central. a fighter for Nigerian democracy, among others. a practicing engineer who is also involved in politics
He was given the job of National political adviser from 1999 to 2007 during the second term of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s eight-year administration, which ran from 1999 to 2007. This was due to his experience in active politics.
He conducted an experiment with the Civil Rights and Social Action group, where he sought to achieve fairness and openness in the general elections that resulted in Nigeria’s transition from military to civilian administration. Senator Sani gained a reputation over time for his interest in politics, economic empowerment, the advancement of education, human rights, and social engagement.
The Banks and Other Financial Institutions (Repeal & Re-enactment) Bill, 2020 and the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria Act (Amendment) Bill, 2021, which were both signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari in November 2020 and November 2021, respectively, were sponsored by Sani as a senator who represents the people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District. Other legislation introduced by the senator is moving through the legislative process at various stages, including committee level, Senate passage, and House of Representatives concurrence. About 21 such bills exist.
Uba Sani is an expert in company growth, project management, and finance. He is also a master of team players and management. Sani attended Harvard University & Graduate School in Washington, DC, and the Harvard Kennedy School.
He actively participated in a number of campus organizations and activities during his time in college, including the Muslim Students Society (MSS). In addition, he belongs to a number of organizations, including the Harvard Business Review, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), and the Abuja Business Club in Nigeria, West Africa.
He has legally met the requirements set forth in the constitution for governor of Kaduna State, including those related to age, education, and place of origin, just like any other politician. Senator Uba Sani led a relatively tranquil life prior to entering the starting block of the race. Although he is not a talker, he would naturally speak up if the situation called for it. He possesses the rare attributes that today’s leaders lack, like compassion, humility, and generosity.
He has an uncanny ability to recall details. Many people once praised him for being “precise, sharp, and well-articulated. Uba’s nationalism and support for made-in-Nigeria goods are what are more encouraging and intriguing. He thinks it is our duty and responsibility as Nigerians to support anything favorable about and related to Nigeria. His faith in the Nigerian educational system is evidence of this.
Mal Sani’s hand is constantly reaching into his pocket to gladly give, donate, and help others. His top priorities in life are to always lend a hand to the weak, speak up for the voiceless, and most importantly, to stand up for the defenseless population. He thinks that God has gifted him so that he might assist others. Malam distributes in this way to everyone, including children and adults, men and women, healthy and ill, able-bodied and disabled, families and schools, prisons and hospitals, etc.
The construction and repair of schools in rural areas, which he views as the most important aspect of his existence on this planet, are simply the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his charitable contributions.
In order for the people of Kaduna State to make an informed and wise decision by providing this gentleman the chance to lead them in Kaduna State in 2023, the aforementioned admirable traits, manners, and qualities, along with a great number of others, drove me to pick up my pen. In my honest opinion, if a person can use his own resources to provide for his people and community in this manner without holding any public office, what will happen when he holds the office of governor?
