The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has returned to Abuja after 12 days vacation in London, United Kingdom.
The ruling party’s flag bearer travelled out of the country on September 24 fueling allegations of ill-health.
In London, Mr Tinubu held several consultative meetings with some prominent Nigerians, including billionaire businessman, Yemi Idowu; and the owner of the defunct hiTv, Toyin Subair.
In an attempt to show proof of fitness, the presidential candidate released a video footage of himself riding a bike.
Mr Tinubu tweeted that, “Many have said I have died; others claimed I have withdrawn from the presidential race. Well…nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am ready to serve Nigeria from day one.”
The former governor of Lagos state was received at the Abuja airport by his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima, among other top dignitaries.
