Two bodies of the three passengers who died when a boat capsized on the flooded Ganaja-Lokoja highway had been recovered on Tuesday
The boat capsized on Monday killing three passengers.
There were seven persons on the boat when the accident occurred
One of the victims Abudulfatia Abudulazeez’s body has beenrecovered.
The boat was conveying travellers from the flooded highway in Lokoja to Ajaokuta end of the road when the incident happened.
It was reported that some divers were able to recover two bodies on Tuesday after frantic search.
Efforts was still ongoing to get the body of the missing third person believed to have died.
The Kogi State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Williams Aya, said two corpses were picked from the flood and had been deposited in a mortuary in Lokoja.
