Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has congratulated the Hama Bachama Homon Daniel Ismaila Shaga on his 67th birthday.
Fintiri in a statement by his press secretary Humwashi Wonosikou on Tuesday, described Shaga as a leader, lover of peace and a role model to many.
He commended the ruler for contributions to the fight against drug abuse during his service as a narcotics officer with the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency.
He said the Bachama ruler will be remembered for his human capital development, adding that “today we celebrate an illustrious son of Adamawa who sacrificed a lot for the growth and development of Nigeria”
He prayed to God to grant the ruler long life and wisdom to bring about lasting peace in the Bachama kingdom and by extension to the Numan federation working in synergy with his brother kings.
