Ngolong Tal, Alhaji Dabo Gutus, a third class traditional ruler in Tal Chiefdom of Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, has been abducted.
He was kidnapped in the early hours of Monday, witnesses said.
There was no communication with the monarch’s abductors yet.
A member representing Pankshin South State Constituency, Prince Dakup Ezra, has called for calm.
He said all efforts are on top gear to see the safe return of the traditional ruler.
He urged his constituents to refrain from any act of provocation or taking the law into their own hands.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Alabo Alfred, has confirmed the incident.
