Mr. Salihu Dembos has been appointed as the new Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed, in a statement by his spokesperson Segun Adeyemi, in Abuja on Wednesday.
The appointment is for a tenure of three years in the first instance.
The statement said, “Until his appointment, Dembos was NTA’s Executive Director, Marketing.
“Dembos’ career as a media professional spans over 20 years.
“He has served as General Manager of two NTA Stations, in Lokoja and Kano; and as Zonal Director, NTA, Kaduna, among other appointments.”
