The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its Women and Youth Sensitisation and Mobilisation Committee with Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello named as chairman.
Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC who inaugurated the committee on Tuesday in Abuja listed Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State as Vice chairman while the party’s Director of Organisation Professor Ussiju Medane would serve as Secretary.
Buni who said the committee was inaugurated for the forthcoming membership registration and validation of the party, urged the committee to liaise with with stakeholders in the state to ensure all, inclusive exercise.
“You should leave no stone unturned to ensure effective mobilization for every member take advantage of this opportunity to register,” Buni said.
Buni told the committee members that this assignment crucial critical, as they were expected “to mount rigorous sensitisation to effectively mobilize every member especially women and youths to either validate their membership or register afresh.”
