A former Governor of Plateau State Jonah Jang has been discharged and acquitted over the N6.3 billion corruption charges levelled against him.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had dragged the two-term governor to a Plateau State High Court over fraud charges.
However, the court sitting in Jos on Friday and presided over by Justice Christy Dabup discharged and acquitted the former senator.
The court also discharged and acquitted a former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the Plateau state government, Yusuf Pam, who was accused alongside the former governor.
