A former Managing Director of New Nigerian Newspapers (NNN) Limited, Alhaji Tukur Othman, is dead.
A family source said he died at Garkuwa Hospital, Kaduna, in the early hours of Friday after protracted illness.
His funeral prayers took place after the Jumaat prayers at the Misbahul Islam Jumuah Mosque, Unguwar Rimi Low Cost Kaduna.
The deceased was an elder brother to Alhaji Idris Othman, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi and Alhaji Hassan Othman.
Hunkuyi is the governorship candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in 2023 elections in Kaduna state.
The deceased is survived by two wives and 16 children.
