A youth group in one of Kebbi’s most populated areas has pledged to work tirelessly towards ensuring the success of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket.
The Tinubu/Shettima Political Awareness Organization in Shiyyar Fada Area of Nasarawa I Ward of the Birnin Kebbi metropolis was on a visit to the residence of Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed-BK (Maibindiga) in Birnin Kebbi yesterday where the 18 member executive council reaffirmed support for the APC presidential candidate.
Chairman of the organization, Comrade Bashar Umar Magina explained that the group has already played an important role in creating awareness on the need for the people of the state to obtain their PVC’s in order to participate in the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, more than five thousand eligible persons have heeded to the group’s campaign and have since registered.
The hairman remarked that in the course of their campaign to get more people registered, they have also highlighted the need to elect the combination of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as President and Vice President respectively.
Other speakers on the occasion of the visit also expressed the group’s commitment to the success of the APC at all levels of the election. A house-to-house sensitization campaign, they said, will commence soon and the objective is to make sure that the party wins in the state.
Responding, Alhaji Ahmed-BK assured the entire people of Kebbi state that the APC Presidential ticket is about Nigeria’s best combination. He said the past records of both Tinubu and Shettima, their competence and capabilities have proved that they remain the nation’s best hope of a rebirth.
He thanked the group for tne visit, assuring them that as soon as campaigns start in September, the party will unfold its manifesto and programs for the nation.
