Former Governor of Zamfara Ahmad Sani Yarima has received his All Progressives Party (APC) revalidation card calling on those incharge of the exercise to register every interested person.
The exercise which was carried out by the Bakura local government registration officer and Commissioner of the National Populations Commission, Alhaji Muttaqa Rini took place in Gusau, the state capital as against his Bakura country home, was supervised by Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa from the National Secretariat of the party and the North West Zonal Vice-chairman, Alhaji Abba Ali.
Yarima who was earlier denied the card by some stakeholders in the state, called on the National Registration Committee led by the governor of Niger state, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello to ensure that nobody is sidelined in the exercise.
The former senator who represented Zamfara North at the Senate for 12 years commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Caretaker Committee of the APC for initiating the exercise.
