Former presidential spokesperson, Dr Doyin Okupe, has expressed optimism that the Labour Party (LP)’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi will win the 2023 presidential election.
He said with the youths and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and it’s affiliates, Obi will be the county’s next president.
In a tweet, Okupe chided Obi’s critics, saying they will shed tears if he (Obi) eventually emerged as the country’s leader.
He said, “Many who deride and mock us that we have no structure will weep and gnash their teeth when Obi is elected President in 2023.
“These folks underestimate the power of a youthful population who have resolved irrevocably to take their country back and also the network of the Nigeria Labour Congress and its affiliates.”
