Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, Prof Ango Abdullahi, has lost his eldest son.
Isa Ango Abdullahi died on Thursday evening after a brief illness.
The deceased worked at the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.
He died in Abuja but his remains would be brought to Zaria on Friday for funeral prayers, a family member said.
The funeral prayers will be held at Haruna Danja’s Juma’at Mosque at about 1.30pm.
Isa is survived by a wife and children.

Sadiq Ango Abdullahi is one of the 63 passengers abducted after a bomb attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28.
