The Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF) has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the handling of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the abducted Abuja-Kaduna train passengers.
The forum specifically frowned at the role played by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi in the crises.
In a tweet on Thursday, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesperson of NEF, said the management of both issues showed that Buhari does not care who runs the country.
Baba-Ahmed said, “Ngige was going to leave the ASUU strike and students at home to run for the Presidency of Nigeria.
“Rotimi Amaechi left a stalled train service and passengers with kidnappers to ask us to make him President of Nigeria. President Buhari does not care
