Former Governor of Ogun State Gbenga Daniel and daughter of former Senate President David Mark, Blessing Onuh, have decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Daniel, who was Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign manager in the 2019 presidential elections, will pick up his APC membership card in Sagamu later in the day, according to the APC spokesperson in the state, Tunde Oladunjoye.
Ms Blessing, representing Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency of Benue state, is decamping from the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
Also, Yakubu Abdullahi from Bauchi Federal Constituency, dumped the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) for the APC.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila read two separate letters to the House that the two lawmakers were leaving the platforms that sponsored their elections due to crisis at all levels of the parties.
