Voting at the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, has come to end.
The voting, according to the party’s timeline, was supposed to commence at 6pm on Tuesday.
However, delegates have to wait until about 2am on Wednesday to commence the exercise.
Earlier before the actual voting started, seven aspirants stepped down for the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Tuesday.
Those who withdrew their aspiration for Tinubu include former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio;
Former Ogun State governor Ibikunle Amosun; Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru; Ajayi Boroffice, senator representing Ondo north; and the only female aspirant in the race, Uju Ohanenye.
The youngest aspirant in the race, Nicholas Felix, however, stepped down for the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
