The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Senate President Ahmed Lawan as its consensus presidential candidate.
The announcement was made by the national chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, at the meeting of National Working Committee (NWC) on Monday in Abuja.
However, Mr Adamu said other aspirants including Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Dr. Kayode Fayemi and David Umahi, among others will however be allowed to contest the primary at the convention holding at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
