Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, secretary to the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s former Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), has resigned his membership of the party.
The development came hours to the party’s presidential primary.
Akpanudoedehe announced his decision in a letter dated 4th June, 2022 and addressed to the APC Chairman of his Offot Ward 6, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
The letter titled; ‘Resignation of my membership of the All Progressives Congress’, reads; “I write to notify you of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC), forthwith.
“Our greater goal of providing service to the people of our dear state remains sacrosanct”.
