Bandits have invaded Gwarinpa, Abuja largest estate in the Federal Capital Territory and abducted many residents.
The assailants, in their large numbers, attacked the sprawling estate, located along Abuja-Zuba Expressway, between 1am and 4am on Monday, it was learned.
Witnesses said the attackers gained access to Genuine Estate after Efab Queens on 6th Avenue, Gwarinpa.
Spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, however, said the case was a robbery incident.
ASP Adeh said the police had already been mobilised to the scene to ascertain how the incident happened.
