A former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has won the PDP presidential primaries held in Abuja on Saturday.
The former Vice President secured the highest number of votes at the special convention held at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.
Atiku garnered 371 votes, while Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike got 237 Votes.
The former Senate President Bukola Saraki garnered 70 votes, Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel got 38 votes.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed secured 20 votes and former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim got 14 votes. There were 12 invalid votes.
Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal had earlier stepped down for Atiku.
