The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun the accreditation of over 800 national delegates for the presidential primary election taking place in Abuja.
The special convention is being held at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abuja.
There are at least 811 of delegates from the 774 local government areas across the country would decide the fate of the aspirants jostling to be the flagbearer of the party.
The accreditation is being done according to geopolitical zones.

After the withdrawal of a former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and businessman, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, other presidential aspirants under the PDP are Vice President, Abubakar Atiku; two former Senate Presidents, Bukola Saraki and Anyim Pius Anyim; Governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto); Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Bala Mohammed (Bauchi); Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom); former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose; Sam Ohunabunwa, and Dele Momodu.
