Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket for his return bid in 2023.
The governor emerged through affirmation by the 563 delegates that participated in the exercise on Thursday.
The state Returning Officer, Danjuma Dabo, said there were no dissenting voices during the exercise, adding that the process was transparent.
“By the power conferred on me, I hereby announce Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya as (the) candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2023 election,” he announced.
