Speakers of the Benue and Delta Assemblies, Titus Uba and Sheriff Oborevwori have emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s candidates in their respective states.
In Benue, Uba defeated the incumbent deputy governor, Benson Abounu and three other aspirants to emerge victorious.
According to result announced at the end of the exercise, Uba polled 731 votes while the deputy governor got 81.
In the Delta exercise, the incumbent speaker, Oborevwori polled 590 votes to defeat David Edevbie, who get 113 votes.
