Minister of State for Works and Housing, Engr Abubakar D. Aliyu, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) requires the support of party members to remain firm in its effort to sustain its good legacies.
The minister disclosed this Saturday during his membership revalidation and registration at Garin Maina polling unit, Bare- Bari Bauya Lai-Lai ward, in Potiskum local government, Yobe state.
He said the ruling party requires the support of party members to continue with the developmental strides it started across the country in the last five years.
“President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC need the support of all party members to sustain the developmental projects it started. All party members are important stakeholders in sustaining the party and moving the country forward,” he said.
Engr Aliyu therefore urged all and sundry to come out en mass to revalidate their membership, adding that “the party is big enough to accommodate all. Those who are inside should revalidate their membership. Those who are on the fence should come and register. The party is the only true Pan-Nigerian political platform that can accommodate all in the country.“
The minister said it is an open secret that APC has delivered on its mandate in Nigeria at large, and Yobe state in particular.
“President Buhari’s projects are all over the country. Governor Mai Mala Buni is equally blazing the trail in the provision of good governance and democratic dividends across the length and breadth of Yobe state. Thus, we need to support them to continue these good works,” he said.
