Former Vice President Namadi Sambo’s son, Adam has reportedly requested the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates to return his money after losing the House of Representatives ticket for the Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
According to the Daily Trust, the aggrieved aspirant had given each of the delegates N2 million to ensure his victory during the primaries.
He was said to have also promised to give additional N1.5 million to the delegates after securing the ticket.
However, it was gathered that the incumbent member, Samaila Suleiman who secured the highest votes, spent more, having given delegates between N3.5 and N4 million each, while Shehu Usman ABG, who came second in the poll, was said to have given delegates N2.5 million each.
The report said Namadi, who had the least votes, is demanding that delegates return his money losing the ticket.
