First Lady, Aisha Buhari alongside the wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Dolapo Osinbajo and the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, on Monday, visited the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
The vistors were received by the national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and some top officials of the party.
They thereafter went into a closed-meeting.
Speaking on the purpose of their visit, Mrs Buhari said they were at the secretariat to congratulate the party’s leadership over their emergence.
She said, “We are here to congratulate the National Chairman for the opportunity God has given him to lead this great party and to thank him for the good work he has started.
“Finally, we are encouraging him not to forget women in all elective positions.”
