Hausa sensational singer Dauda Adamu Abdullahi Kahutu Rarara known for his numerous songs in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari has doled out cash to 57 Kannywoood artists cutting across all categories.
The gesture according to the singer’s media aide Rabiu Garba Gaya is part of a series of activities lined up with the newly initiated movement tagged ‘13-13’in which Rarara is serving as the initiative’s chairman. In a statement signed by the aide, 13 female elders and 15 male elders got N50, 000 each. He further stated that additional 10 young female artists got N50, 000 each as well with 19 female singers that are married getting N30, 000 each.
Already many of the beneficiaries have taken to their social media handles to thank the singer for the gesture describing it as a lifeline extended to them with no string attached.
Rarara under the newly formed initiative has included several Kannywood practitioners as members while many others were involved as executives. It could be recalled that members of the 13-13 initiative recently returned to Nigeria from an all expense paid trip to Dubai.
