The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has obtained his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the 2023 presidential election.
It was gathered that associates of the former Lagos governor picked the forms on his behalf on Friday in Abuja.
The associates include member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke and his colleague representing Agege Federal Constituency in the green chamber, Babatunde Adejare as well as the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
In January, Tinubu, who is currently in Mecca, Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his presidential ambition.
The APC leader has begun consulting with various stakeholders regarding his 2023 presidential ambition.
