The federal government would soon announce timeline for link of the National Identity Numbers (NIN) with Bank Verification Numbers (BVN).
The Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami, who disclosed this said the process would link NIN to bank accounts.
He said NIN would replace the Bank Verification Number (BVN) because the latter was not backed by law.
