The remains of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, will be buried today (Saturday) around 4pm.
This was disclosed by the Head of Oyo Mesi, who is the Prime Minister of Oyo Kingdom, High Chief Yusuf Ayoola, while addressing journalists at the palace.
The Oyo prime minister said, “We have called the Imam. Baba will be buried today around 4pm.”
He confirmed that Oba Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti on Friday night.
