Boko Haram fighters Tuesday evening attacked Geidam, a community in Yobe State.
Sources said the insurgents invaded the town after Maghrib (sunset) prayer.
This is exactly a month when the insurgents invaded the community, looting and burning houses. A stray bullet hit a young girl during the attack.
A resident of the town said security operatives were yet to respond to distress calls put to them by the resident during the latest invasion by the insurgents.
He said gunshots by the insurgents caused many residents to panic and flee into the bush while others hid in their houses.
“We are now hiding indoors with all the family members, thank God they are all home,” the source said.
