The DSS has arrested Local Government Chairmen of Gwarzo and Kano Municipal, Bashir Abdullahi Kutama and Faizu Alfindiki for alleged using armed political thugs in the state.
An anonymous senior DSS officer said are being accused of sponsoring political thuggery in the state, culminating into attacks and subsequent killings of innocent citizens.
The DSS also declared Chairman of Gwale Local Government area of Kano Khalid Ishaq Diso wanted on the same allegations, while one Dr Sabiu an SSA to the Governor was also arrested by the Security on the same allegations.
The said clash between supporters of some politicians on Saturday at the Rano township stadium, Rano local government area of the state during the inauguration of APC executives left four persons dead and four others injured.
Although the police authorities confirmed the death of one person.
