Randy Waldrum, Super Falcons head coach had been offered a two-year deal by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
The 65-year old was appointed as coach by the NFF in May 2020.
The German international qualified for another spot at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with the Falcons.
“He (Waldrum) has been offered a contract to continue as coach of the team that will last till after the World Cup,” an official of the NFF stated.
“The coach has achieved the initial mandate given to him by the NFF, which was to qualify the team for WAFCON in Morocco.
“So we are happy with the progress of the team.”
Super Falcons is the only African team to have played in all eight Women’s World Cups since 1991.
