All Progressives Congress (APC) will emerge stronger and reclaim its stolen mandate in Sokoto state, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has said.
The senator spoke on Sunday when he revalidated his party membership in Wamakko ward.
He said the APC will reclaim its stolen mandate in the state in 2023, and the country at large. “APC is the party to beat in the state and in Nigeria and it has now become part of the blood of the people of Sokoto State” .
The senator said Nigerians are also proud and appreciative of the good works President Muhammadu Buhari is doing for the nation.
The Chairman of the National Membership Registration and Revalidation Exercise Committee deployed to Sokoto State, Professor Saleh Galadima Kanam said the exerise was crucial in repositioning the party, towards 2023 general elections.
Kanam said the APC in the state led by Wamakko, is very strong, united and focussed, even as he expressed optimism that, the exerise will be hitchfree and successful.
The State Caretaker Chairman of the party, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida, said all the stakeholders in the state will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the success of the exercise.
