Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko faction of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto State has alleged that Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami is working with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to destroy his party in Kano and Sokoto states.
The group made the allegation shortly after the Minister had identified Sanator Abubakar Gada-led faction as the authentic leaders of the party in the state.
Speaking to our reporter, the chairman of the Wamakko led faction, Isa Sadiq Achida alleged that, the Minister was hell bend to create problems in the party in the two states just to satisfy his PDP’s friends, but he would fail woefully.
Achida, however, urged the Minister to go and resolve the crisis in his state before coming to create problem in Sokoto.
“This is the man who could not win his poling unit during the last local government election in Kebbi state.
Earlier, Malami in a function organized by member, representing Illela/Gwadabawa constituency, Abdullahi Salame insisted that, Mainasara Sani, the chairman of the Gada-led faction was the authentic chairman of the party in the state.
“His election was affirmed by the Abuja court,” he said.
However, Achida wondered when the Minister turned to a judge and could preempt the judgement of the court.
“Because this case is already at the appeallant court. He just played to the gallery because he knows the people he is supporting had lost bearing as per as Sokoto politics is concern,” he said
