The Nigeria Coca-Cola company has appointed Alfred Olajide as new Vice President and Managing Director for its Nigeria operations following a reorganisation of the company’s leadership structure.
Olajide replaces Yebeltal Getachew whose tenure ended on 31 December, 2020.
The new managing director has severed in different capacities at top level in the company for the past nine years across Africa including Franchise Director for Cluster Markets in Southern and Eastern Africa Region, and Strategy Head for Nigeria Franchise.
The company, in August, announced a global restructuring amidst fast-changing business environment and competition.
The changes sees its erstwhile 17 Business Units compressed to 9 Operating Units on strategic and local business objectives.
