Bandits have abducted at least 18 persons, mostly married women, in Kaduna on Sunday.
A security source said most of the abducted persons were married women, adults and young ladies.
The bandits struck at Unguwar Zalla Udawa in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing one person.
The village, located along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway, was attacked by the bandits around 12:30am on Sunday.
There was no immediate official response from the Kaduna Police Command.
