Boko Haram terrorists have attacked Maiduguri, Borno state capital with rockets ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit on Thursday.
The terrorists have launched rocket attacks on at least three communities at Ngomari airport general area in the state capital.
The Boko Haram fighters have targetted the Maiduguri International Airport hours before the arrival of the president.
Security sources said the insurgenst attacked the area around 10:45am some minutes before Buhari arrived.
Dozens of people are reportedly dead or injured.
One of the rockets landed close to an office, while the others struck Ngomari Ayashe community, at least killing four children, one in Moranti, the sources said.
Emmergency officials are saying that at least 25 persons were reportedly wounded.
